Kentucky-based composer Steve Rouse has signed on to release his next album of chamber works on a PARMA label. Ensembles to be featured will include various combinations of clarinet, flute, violin, cello, piano, corno, trumpet, bass, and percussion.
Steve has achieved numerous awards over the course of his career, including the Rome Prize, a National Endowment for the Arts Composition Fellowship, and two prizes from the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters. Currently he is Professor of Theory and Composition at the University of Louisville School of Music.
