PARMA Licensing enjoyed their whirlwind trip to the Atlanta Film Festival this past week, where they presented their panel "The Art and Logistics of Creating and Placing Music in Media" as part of the Festival's Creative Conference.
PARMA Licensing's Managing Director, Jake Weinreb, moderated the panel, which featured a handful of Atlanta's media industry
heavy-hitters: Danya Levine (Supervising Producer, CNN), Gina Barboza (Director of Music Licensing and Development, Turner Entertainment Networks), and Richard Devine (Owner, Composer, and Sound Designer, Devinesound).
Together, the team tackled a variety of subjects in the field, from a look at the legal process for clearing music in a film on the festival circuit, to the challenges of contracting a composer and interpreting someone else's art.

PARMA thanks the entire Atlanta Film Festival team for putting on such a fantastic event, as well as Gina, Danya, and Richard for being a part of such an engaging panel.
Thank you to all of the talented filmmakers who submitted to the contest, and congratulations to the three grand prize winners!
